INTRODUCTION
Glavno mesto v vsebinah zasedata delo in vloga sindikatov, ostale teme so združevanje in krajevna politika, marketing, nenehno spreminjanje učinkovanja sredstev masovnega sporočanja, tiskovine, literatura, radio in kinematografija, pa še takrat komaj nastajajoči trg t. i. home video.
As a sociology professor, Darko Bratina had the opportunity to follow many degree theses, as supervisor or co-supervisor, as the list below shows. A second list is dedicated to the theses for which, although he was part of the fund, Bratina’s role is not defined.
The list highlights different subjects on which his teaching and research were focused, partly revealing the type of approach proposed. Starting from the central theme about the work and the role of the unions, the topics addressed change from associationism to local politics, to marketing and to the continuous change of the impact the mass media have: press, literature, radio and cinema, up to the new born home video market. From the female emancipation in developing countries issue to the examination of migratory phenomena, from the analysis of tourism’ resources and impact to the social and working implications of computer technology, from the topic on health and alternative psychiatry to the beginning of the environmental and ecological issue. It’s clearly visible the constant growing of issues related to ethnic minorities, with particular attention to the Friulian-Slovenian context. Over a period ranging from the early seventies to the early nineties, the thesis topics highlight a path made to return the reality of a society constantly changing, in reference especially to the Italian context, but not just, which aims to highlights problems and promises in the border area and the Triveneto area.
